Angels on Assignment

MCR’s Angels on Assignment brings caring community volunteers together to make the cancer journey a little easier for those who need extra support. Our Angels give their time and talents in meaningful ways—from creating and delivering Cancer Care Kits to helping with meals, errands, and other practical needs during treatment and recovery.

Sometimes the smallest act of kindness can make the biggest difference. A comforting care package during chemotherapy, a nourishing meal after surgery, or a helping hand when someone simply doesn’t have the energy can remind a person that they are not facing cancer alone.

As this program grows, our vision is to expand the ways our Angels can help, including assistance with meals, light yard work, housekeeping, transportation, and other everyday needs that can become overwhelming during cancer treatment.

You can be an Angel, too. Whether you have a few hours to give, a special skill to share, or simply a desire to help, there is a place for you in our mission. Together, we can surround Maui’s cancer ʻohana with compassion, connection, and care when they need it most.
